The Urban Ranch is the Starners’ urban microfarm on one-acre of permacultured gardens featuring over 70 plants used for organic food and herbal remedies. Located on Grand Rapids’ WestSide since 1951. 

The Urban Ranch is used as a teaching space also for homesteading, cooking, food preservation, herbalism, and organic living.  Check out the Classes page to see what’s on the roster!
