Getting to know the land around me.
This past summer, I’ve made it a point to spend at least 3 days a week in new places outside, in plants — ditches, forests, open fields. I’ve been pretty good about keeping up with that schedule, and I am pleased that I’ve gotten beyond my usual gathering haunts and have discovered many new plants along the way.
